Biography
John Larson has been working as a Master Of Ceremonies, Actor, Disc Jockey, Director & Producer of music for 20 years. He is a highly trained Improv Actor Comedian with many stage and screen credits. He has performed all over the USA in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago & St. Louis.
John was born and raised in St. Paul Minnesota. In Minnesota he trained as a Actor, Dancer and DJ. He then moved to Chicago to train with Jane Brody for two years where he worked as a DJ for corporate events and as an actor for film and TV. Following that, he moved to Los Angeles where he spent 10 years working and studying the craft of acting and the performing arts. After working with top celebrities and corporate clients in LA, namely The Beach Boys, NFL Star Willie Gault, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Dana Carvey, Slash, HBO, Universal Pictures, The Ritz Carltons, and many more.
He made NYC his home where he became the "In House" MC / DJ at the world famous Tavern On The Green. He spent ten years there, performing for hundreds of celebrities and dignitaries as show host and entertainer. Because of the high profile nature of Tavern On The Green events, John was asked to perform for hundreds of mega events in NYC like, The Marriott Marquis Hotel, in Times Square for their New Years Ball drop. John was requested six consecutive years, including the Millennium. John was also the MC and DJ for Julie Andrews birthday party. He was noticed by Film Director/Producer Mr. Mike Nichols. Mike invited John to train at his school, The New Actors Workshop for Improv and Acting. He spent two years perfecting this craft around Mike Nichols & Paul Sills.
